Shree Ganesh Steel

Shree Ganesh Steel is tucked away in Gala No. 4 of the Bhavna Industrial Estate. We are on B.P. Cross Road in Bhayander East, and you can usually hear the mosque nearby when it is time for prayers. Working with steel is heavy and loud. We spend our days moving pipes and sheets around, and you have to be careful where you step. The floor is always covered in tiny metal bits and the air smells like iron. We don’t have a big fancy sign or a reception area. You just walk into the gala and find us working. It gets quite hot in Bhayander, especially in an industrial shed with all the metal reflecting the heat, but we have some big fans that help a little. Our tools are well-used and have been with us for a long time. We know the weight of the material just by looking at it most of the time. It is a straightforward business. We take the steel, we cut it or shape it as needed, and we move on to the next task. Sometimes we sit outside on the plastic chairs for a bit when the truck is being loaded or when we’re waiting for a new delivery of raw materials. It’s just a normal steel shop in a busy part of town, doing the same routine every morning since we first opened up our doors here.
