Down in Vasai East, at Plot No-18 in Dewan & Shah Udyog Nagar, that’s where we are. It’s near Waliv Phata, which is a busy industrial hub. The sounds of metal clanging and welding are just part of the background noise here. We work with vessels and tanks, so there’s always something big being moved around. It’s a tough environment, especially when it’s hot outside. The workshop floor is concrete and usually has some marks from the heavy equipment. We don't have a lot of office space; most of our time is spent out where the work happens. Our shirts usually have a bit of dirt on them by midday. It’s not a place for suits and ties. We’ve got a small crew that knows how to handle the tools and the materials. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought, so we stay late. The industrial estate has its own feel, with trucks coming in and out all day long. We’ve been at this plot for a good stretch of time. It’s a practical setup. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. If someone needs something built, we just look at the specs and get to it. It’s straightforward, hard work and we don't try to make it sound like anything else. There is a small corner where we keep our lunch boxes and a water cooler. That is pretty much the only place to sit down and take a quick break.
