Tube Tech Industries

Tube Tech Industries is located at 37, Dandekar I.E. on Old Satpati Road. Being in Thane, especially in an industrial estate like this one, means it is a lot of metal, trucks, and hard work. Our unit is just one of many in the long row of similar buildings. It is a bit dusty and the air smells like grease and cut metal most of the time. We have got our machinery set up in the main area and a small office tucked into the corner for handling the paperwork and orders. The roof is high and it gets quite loud when everything is running at the same time. Old Satpati Road can be a bit rough on the tires because of the potholes, but it is how we get everything in and out. We do not have any air conditioning in the main work area, just big industrial fans that move the hot air around. It is a tough environment but it is where we do our thing. The guys here have been working these machines for years and they know the sounds of the shop perfectly. We take our breaks together and talk about the local news or whatever else is happening. It is not a place for suits and ties. We get our hands dirty and make sure the tubes are right. The lights are those long tubes that hum a bit. It is a basic, functional space that serves its purpose.
