We are located out in West Thane, over in Maharashtra, which is a long way from the mines in Jharkhand. This part of the country is always moving at a fast pace. Our address here in the 401506 area is surrounded by other warehouses and small factories. It’s a busy industrial pocket where you can hear the trains and the heavy trucks at all hours. We don’t have a big shiny office tower. It’s more of a functional space where we handle the operations for this side of the country. The air is humid, being so close to the coast, and the monsoons here are something else—everything just stops when the rain gets too heavy. We have a small crew here, and we’ve been working out of this spot for some time. It’s about managing the flow of materials and making sure the paperwork for the local deliveries is in order. Most of the guys here commute from different parts of Thane or the nearby suburbs, so the morning starts with everyone talking about the traffic on the highway. We just get on with the work. There’s no point in making it sound more complicated than it is. We receive stuff, we check it, and we send it out. It’s a simple cycle that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. It’s just honest work in a busy part of Maharashtra, and we’re happy to be a part of the local landscape.
