Steel Plant

Our place is located out in the Midc Tarapur area, which is part of the Palghar taluka near Thane. It's a pretty industrial spot as you can imagine. We go by the name Steel Plant, and we've been operating out of block B/6 for a good bit of time. If you've ever driven through this part of Maharashtra, you know it's full of factories and warehouses. It gets pretty dusty and the roads aren't always the best, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our hours making sure the steel goes where it needs to go. There’s a small crew of us here, and we mostly just focus on the job at hand. It’s not a place with air conditioning in every corner or soft chairs. It is more about the work. We get a lot of trucks coming in and out, so things can get a bit hectic during the middle of the day. The 401506 area is where we spend most of our lives, honestly. We don't really do much advertising because people who need us usually find us through word of mouth. Sometimes the power goes out or things get delayed, but we just deal with it. It’s a straightforward operation. We handle the materials, check the weights, and get things shipped. That’s pretty much the whole story. We’re just local workers trying to make a living in the industrial belt. Lately, we've been trying to organize the yard a bit better, but with new shipments arriving every day, it is a constant battle.
