Steel Centre

We’ve been at Steel Centre in Ameya Park on Navapur Road for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot with trucks constantly going by. People stop in when they need specific metal pieces or just want to see what we have in the yard. It gets pretty dusty around here with all the movement. We handle all sorts of steel, and the stacks can get high, making it a bit of a chore to find the exact size someone wants. It is mostly just a few of us working through the day. The shop isn’t fancy, just some walls and a roof over a lot of heavy materials. We try our best to keep things in order, but it’s difficult when stuff is moving in and out all the time. Navapur Road is usually a mess in the mornings. If you are looking for our place, we are right by the park entrance. We work with regular people and some of the local builders too. It’s honest labor, mostly just moving heavy things around and cutting them to the right length. We don’t have a big front office, just a small desk in the corner where we keep the receipts. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it is dead quiet for hours. We just do what needs to be done. The weather gets really hot in the afternoon, which makes the metal warm to touch. We have seen the area change a lot lately, but we are still here doing the same thing every day.
