Shree Balaji Metel Industries

We spend most of our time here at Plot 22 in the Golani Industrial Estate. If you know Waliv in Vasai East, you know it gets pretty busy with all the trucks moving in and out of the survey areas. It is noisy because of the metal work, but that is just how things are around here. We have been at this spot for quite a while now. The morning usually starts with checking what metal stock came in overnight. It is dusty, especially when the wind picks up across the open plots, but we just keep the fans going. The tea stall down the road is where most of us end up during the afternoon break. It isn't a fancy setup. We just have our machinery, some desks for the paperwork, and a lot of heavy items that need moving from one corner to the other. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for a bit, so we just wait it out and talk. Being in an industrial estate like this means there is always someone nearby working on something similar. We see the same faces every day. There is no big corporate vibe here, just people doing their jobs with metal and machines. The address is a bit hard to find if you aren't used to the survey numbers, but once you see the sign for Shree Balaji Metel Industries, you know you are in the right place. We just try to get the work done and go home.
