Om Electroplating

We are right by the Bajrangbali Dhaba in Dhamder East, so if you miss the sign, just look for the food place. Om Electroplating has been in this spot for a while now. Most days it’s just us working through the pile of parts people drop off. Electroplating isn't exactly clean work, but we get it done. The shop gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when the tanks are all running. My cousin helps out most mornings. We mostly handle metal finishing for local shops around Gurudev Naka. It’s a busy area. Sometimes the trucks blocking the road make it hard to get in, but that's just how it is here. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It is just a small setup where we focus on the job at hand. People come by, drop off their stuff, and we give them a time to pick it up. Usually, it's ready when we say, unless something goes wrong with the power. We don't have a fancy office or a secretary answering phones. If you call, you’ll probably hear the machines in the background. It’s loud and messy, but we’ve been doing this long enough to know what we are doing. We just keep our heads down and work. The neighborhood knows us. If you're coming from the main road, the turn-off is right after the big tree. We stay open until the work for the day is finished. It’s simple work but it pays the bills and keeps the local machinery running.
