Mahavir Metal Converters

Our place, Mahavir Metal Converters, is situated at Plot No. 49 in the Vasai Taluka Industrial Estate. We are in Sector-1, over in the Gouraipada area. It’s a very big industrial estate and there’s always something noisy going on in the units around us. Our own unit is a big open space where we do all the metal converting work. It’s functional and built specifically for heavy manual labor. We have a few large machines that take up most of the room on the floor, and there’s always the heavy smell of grease and metal in the air. We don’t spend any money on making the place look nice for guests because we’re too busy actually working on orders. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but a bit of dirt doesn't affect the quality of the work we do every day. We have a small, cramped office tucked into the far corner for the paperwork and the landline phone. Most of our time is spent out on the main floor, making sure every machine is running right and nothing is breaking down. The trucks come in and out of the industrial estate all day long, so we have to be very careful with the loading and unloading of the heavy materials. It’s hard work and it can be quite tiring, but it’s the trade we know best. We’ve been in Vasai East for a long while now and we’ve seen the estate change over the years. We just keep our heads down and focus.
