Working out of Room No 23 at the Tata Ssl Hostel in Boisar is a bit different than a standard office. Being near Gangotri, we are right in the middle of the industrial vibe of Thane. It’s a busy spot, and the 401506 area stays active pretty much around the clock. Since we are based in a hostel setup for Jsw Steel Ltd, space is tight and everything is functional. You won’t find any marble lobbies here. We mostly focus on the coordination side of things, making sure the steel movements are tracked and the local requirements are met. The Maharashtra weather keeps us on our toes, especially during the monsoon when the roads get tricky. Life in Boisar is all about the factories and the people who keep them running. We see the same faces every day, mostly workers and local drivers. It is a simple existence, really. We keep our logs, answer the phones, and try to stay organized in a small space. The noise from the nearby areas is constant, but you get used to it after a week. It feels like a real community of people who are just trying to do their jobs well. We don’t have a big sign out front, but everyone in the hostel knows who we are and what we do. It’s just honest work in a busy industrial town. We manage our tasks one at a time and keep moving forward with the daily grind.
