Great Steel & Metals

We are over at A-14 Panchal Estate. If you know where the old Syndicate Bank used to be, we are right opposite that. Great Steel & Metals has been operating out of this unit for a long time. It is a bit of a dusty place because of all the metal we move around. We deal with steel and different metals every single day. The trucks arrive early in the morning and we spend the rest of the day unloading and sorting stuff. It is hard work on the hands. We don't wear suits or sit in air-conditioned rooms all day. You will usually find us in work clothes with dirt on our boots. That is just the nature of Great Steel & Metals. We have a few machines that have been with us since we started. They still run fine if you know how to talk to them. The neighbors at Panchal Estate are good people. We all help each other out when someone needs a hand with a heavy load. We don’t have a marketing department. We just have our name on the gate at A-14. It is a practical setup. Nothing fancy. We focus on the metal and making sure it gets where it needs to go. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, but we catch up eventually. It is a local operation and we like it that way. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
