Chandragupt Steel

Our shop is tucked away in Shop No-A 3 of the Jaisal Kripa Building over in Pooja Nagar. If you are familiar with the Goddev Naka area, you know it can get pretty crowded during the morning rush. We have been running Chandragupt Steel from this specific spot for quite some time now. It’s a small place, really, but we pack it full of whatever steel items we have in our stock at the moment. Dealing with steel is heavy and tiring work, so by the end of the day, we are usually feeling it in our backs. My cousin helps me out with the heavy lifting and keeping the inventory records straight, which isn't always easy when things get a bit messy during a busy week. The building itself is easy enough to find once you get into the main lane of Pooja Nagar. We don't do much advertising because most people just hear about us from their neighbors or they just walk by while they are doing their other shopping for the day. It gets very hot inside during the summer months, so we keep the old fans running all day long to stay cool. We just focus on getting the steel out to whoever needs it for their house or their own small construction projects. There is always someone coming in asking for a specific size or type of metal, and we do what we can to help them out. It’s a straightforward life for us here. We open early, clean the floors, and wait for the trucks.
