Centurions

We are located right in Gaunsavaddo Village in Mapusa. It is a nice spot, right next to the Divine Mercy School. You can hear the kids playing during their breaks and it makes the atmosphere feel a bit lighter. It is a bit different from the busy city parts of North Goa that the tourists see. We have been here for a while and most of the neighbors know our faces by now. The building is simple and we don't have much in the way of decoration or fancy signage. We just focus on our daily tasks and try to keep things moving. It is a quiet kind of work most of the time, which we prefer. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees in suits. It is just a small group of us making sure everything runs okay. The heat in the summer can be tough, especially in the afternoons, but the breeze from the trees around the school helps a bit. We don't really do much marketing or any of that. If someone needs us, they usually just walk in or call the local number we've had for years. We spend our mornings checking the lists and getting things ready for the day. In the evening, we lock up the gates and head home just like everyone else. It is a good, quiet life here in the village. There is nothing too complicated about how we run things. We just try to do the work that is in front of us without making any fuss about it.
