We operate out of Sandesh Apts down in Miramar. It’s a pretty quiet spot compared to the busier parts of Goa. Being here in 403002 means we’re close to the beach, though we’re usually inside the office most of the day. The Taj name is big, but our little setup here is quite modest. We deal with a lot of the background work that goes into running things. It’s mostly phone calls and emails. We have a few desks and some old cabinets for the files. Sometimes you can smell the salt in the air when the breeze is right. We’ve been in this building for a while, and the neighbors are all used to us being here. It’s a lot of coordinating with other people and making sure things are ready. We don't have a big lobby or a concierge desk in this particular office. It's more of a place where the actual work gets organized. We see a lot of people passing through Miramar, but our day is mostly spent looking at booking logs and schedules. It’s a steady kind of job. We like the location because it’s not too hectic. The parking can be a bit of a pain sometimes, but that’s just how it is here. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing for the day. It’s practical work. We don't try to make it sound more important than it is. Just keeping things moving along for the hotels and making sure the information is correct. It's what we do. It’s a real place with real people working behind the scenes.
