Goa Marriott Resort is situated right by the Youth Hostel in Miramar, Panaji. Our address is Goa- 403001. Being so close to the water means we get a nice breeze most days. We've been here for a while and we see a lot of people coming through for their holidays or just for a quick visit to the coast. It’s a busy place, especially when the tourist season kicks in. The staff here are mostly from around Goa or other parts of India, and we just try to keep the place running smoothly. We have rooms to look after, a lobby that needs to stay tidy, and plenty of people asking questions about where to go in town. It’s a lot of walking back and forth and making sure everything is in its place. We aren't just a big building; we're a team of people who spend our days making sure the floors are swept and the guests are looked after. It gets pretty hectic during the festivals, but we’re used to it by now. The location in Miramar is great because it's not too far from the main city but still feels like you're by the sea. We just go about our daily tasks, from the front desk to the kitchen, trying to keep everything in order without too much drama. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we do.
