Desouza Hoels Resort Sun Village

Desouza Hoels Resort Sun Village is located at G-5, Monalisa in the Naikawaddo area of Calangute. Being in Goa, especially so close to Calangute, means that things are almost always moving around here. We have a real mix of people coming through our gates, some looking for the beach and others just wanting a quiet place to sit by the pool for the afternoon. Our place isn't one of those massive, cold corporate resorts where you’re just another room number on a list. We’re a bit more laid back here, which we think fits the general vibe of the neighborhood much better. The building is tucked away in Naikawaddo, so it’s a little different from the main tourist strip, but that’s exactly what some people like about it. We’ve got a small staff, and we all end up doing a bit of everything during the day, whether it’s helping with heavy bags or fixing a leaky tap in one of the rooms. It’s an older building with its own specific character, so it’s not perfectly polished or modern, but it feels like a real place with a soul. We don't use fancy marketing talk because what you see when you walk in is exactly what you get. We spend our days making sure the gardens are watered and the guests have whatever they might need. Sometimes the monsoon rains make things a bit messy, but that’s just life here.
