Chancery Pavillon

We are based in Goa, specifically in the Mala area of Panaji. Our place is Flat F G 1 in the Maruti Apartments. It is a nice, quiet spot away from the main tourist rush, which we prefer. We handle the bookings and the management for the pavilion from this small apartment. It is a bit of a different way to run a hotel business, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with our staff. Panaji is a small place, so we know most of the people around here. The office is not anything special to look at, just a place where we keep the books and the keys. Sometimes the humidity in Goa gets to the paperwork, but we manage. We are not some giant international chain with a glossy brochure. We are just local people making sure guests have a decent place to stay. If things break, we call the local repairman we have known for years. It is a very personal way of doing things. We do not have a big corporate strategy. We just try to be honest and do our best with what we have. Most days are just spent making sure the rooms are ready and the bills are paid. It is a simple life running a business in Goa. We like being in Maruti Apartments because it is peaceful.
