Raj Handicrafts

Raj Handicrafts is located over at B-315, Street No. 13/5 in Subhash Vihar. It’s a bit of a maze back here in North Ghonda if you aren't familiar with the streets. We have been working out of this space for years and it’s basically become a second home for us. The workshop is at B-315, Street No. 13/5, Subhash Vihar, North Ghonda and it is usually filled with the sounds of tools and people talking. We don’t have a big store window or anything like that because most of our work is done for orders that go out elsewhere. It’s a real grassroots kind of place where things get made by hand. Sometimes it’s a bit messy with scraps and materials lying around but that is part of the process. We don’t use a lot of fancy machinery here just the basic stuff that gets the job done right. The neighbors all know us and we’ve seen the kids in the street grow up while we’ve been sitting here working. It’s a quiet enough area during the day except for when the deliveries arrive. We aren't some big factory with hundreds of workers just a small group of us who know how to handle the materials. We take our time with things and don't try to rush just to make a quick buck. It’s just honest work in a regular neighborhood and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and finish the orders.
