R. D. Handicraft

We have been working out of Street No.15 in Vijay Park for quite a few years now. R. D. Handicraft isn't some massive factory with hundreds of people, just a small local spot where we get things done. Being located right near the C-11 block in Yamuna Vihar makes it easy for folks to find us once they get into the neighborhood. We mostly spend our days dealing with hand-made items that take a lot of patience to finish. My neighbor always says we stay open too late, but when there are orders to get through, you just have to keep at it. Moujpur is a really busy part of town, so there is always some noise or a scooter honking outside our door. Sometimes the street gets so crowded with delivery bikes that it is hard to move, but we manage. We try to keep our shop organized but it is a real workshop, so there are always bits of scrap material laying around on the floor. People often stop by just to ask what we are making today. It is usually wood or metal work, depending on what was ordered that week. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. Just the space here in V-17/10 where the tools and benches are kept. It is dusty work and our hands are usually a mess by the evening. We just focus on the pieces in front of us and try to do right by the job.
