R.J. Handicrafts is tucked away at H. No. 8 in Gali No. 1. If you are looking for us, just find the Tirpal Factory in Old Mustafabad and we are very close by. It’s a narrow street, so don’t try to bring a big car down here. We’ve been in this neighborhood for years. Most people around here know us as the place near the factory. The air always smells a bit like industrial materials because of the nearby workshops. Our space is basically just a few rooms filled with tools and whatever we are making at the moment. It gets pretty dusty, but that’s just how it is with handicrafts. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Just the house number on the door. My brother and I usually start early before the heat gets too bad. We have a couple of guys who help us out when we have a big order to finish. Sometimes we sit out in the alley for a break just to get some air. The kids from the neighborhood are always running around, which makes it lively. It’s a simple setup we’ve got. We do the work by hand mostly, so things take time. It isn't a factory with machines running all night, just us doing what we know how to do. Life in Old Mustafabad is fast but we try to keep our own pace here.
