You can find our workshop at D-58/2, Gali No. 3, in the Ankur Enclave part of Karawal Nagar. It’s a busy neighborhood and things can get a bit loud during the day with all the motorbikes and vendors outside. We work with our hands here, making different kinds of handicrafts. The floor is usually covered in wood shavings or bits of fabric, depending on what project we have going on. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful where we step. We aren't a big factory. We just have a few workstations set up where we can concentrate on our designs. Most of the people who work here live just a few streets away. We don't have a fancy showroom for people to browse. Usually, if someone wants to see what we are doing, they just walk right into the middle of the mess. We prefer it that way. It’s more honest. We spend a lot of time arguing over the best way to finish a piece or which materials to use. It’s just a small group of us who enjoy making things. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just rely on making decent stuff that people actually want to keep in their homes. It’s hard work and our backs usually ache by the end of the day, but it’s what we know how to do.
