Ravi Pan Bhandar

My shop is in Wazirpur, over in Azad Colony. It is just a small wooden cabin, really, but it has everything I need. I am Ravi, and I have been here every day for as long as I can remember. People in the colony know me well. They stop by after work to chat and get their pan. I keep a variety of tobacco, supari, and sweet fillings. It is a simple life. I open up around ten in the morning and stay until the last few people go home at night. The light outside my shop is one of the brightest on this street, so people gather here. Sometimes the kids come by for some candies or a cold drink from the small fridge I have. It is not a place for big business meetings or anything like that. It is just a local bhandar where you can relax for a minute. The rain sometimes leaks through the roof a little bit, but I have fixed it with some plastic sheets for now. I know most of the stories of the people living around here. We talk about the weather, the news, or just what is happening in the neighborhood. I don’t have any plans to change anything. As long as people keep coming, I will keep the shop open. It is what I do. You don't need an appointment, just walk up to the counter in Azad Colony and I'll be there.
