New Arora Sweet Shop

We have been here at 5/112 Sant Nikarani Colony for quite a while now. Most people know us because we are right near the Vishvidyalay Metro Station in Kingsway Camp. It gets really busy around here with all the students and commuters, so there is always something happening outside our door. The shop isn't huge, but we make sure the counters stay full of fresh stuff every day. We start early in the morning, getting the milk and sugar ready for the different batches. It is a lot of work standing over the big kadhais, especially when it gets hot in the summer, but that is just how the job is. People come in for a quick snack or to take a box of laddoos home for their family. We see the same faces every week, mostly folks from around the colony who have been coming since they were kids. Sometimes the metro station gets crowded and people stop by while waiting for their trains. We just focus on keeping things clean and making sure the taste stays the same as it always was. My father started this and we just keep it going day by day. There isn't much to say other than we are just a local sweet shop trying to do things right for the neighborhood. If you are walking toward the metro, you will probably see our sign. We keep the display cases stocked with whatever is in season and usually there is a tray of samples sitting on top of the glass.
