About Bhikhan Lal Raj Kumar – Food & Beverages in North Delhi
Khari Baoli is a place you don't forget easily, and we're right in the middle of it at 2035, Katra Tambacco. Bhikhan Lal Raj Kumar is a name that’s been around these parts for a long time. The lanes here are narrow, and you have to dodge laborers carrying huge sacks on their backs just to get to our door. It’s a traditional market, and our shop feels like it’s been here forever. We don't have air conditioning or fancy carpets. The walls are thick and the shelves are made of heavy wood. We deal in various commodities, mostly bulk stuff. You can hear the noise of the market from dawn until late at night. It’s a bit overwhelming for some, but we find it comfortable. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share a cup of tea while talking about the market prices. There’s no corporate ladder here, just us working together to keep the business going. We handle things the old-fashioned way, with a lot of personal interaction. Sometimes we stay late to finish counting the stock. It’s hard work, but it’s what our family has always done. We don't need a website to tell people who we are; the locals already know where to find us in Katra Tambacco. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs finishing. That is our daily life here.
