Bikaner Sweet House

Bikaner Sweet House has been at Model Town II F-14/17 for a good while now. We are tucked away in the F block. It is a busy spot, especially on weekends. My family runs the place. We start the stoves before the sun comes up. You can smell the frying from down the street. We make sweets and some salty snacks too. It is not a corporate chain. It is just a local shop where we know most of the customers by name. Sometimes the kids from the nearby houses come in after school. We have a few tables, but they are mostly old. We do not spend much on decorating. We would rather spend that on better ingredients. The milk comes in fresh every day. If the batch is not good, we do not sell it. Simple as that. Working here is hard work, standing all day, but it is what we know. We are not trying to be famous. We just want to make sure the people in Model Town have a place to get something sweet. The address is F-14/17, right there in the middle of things. We get a lot of regulars. Sometimes it is noisy with the traffic outside. We just keep the doors open and keep working. If you need something for a party or just a quick bite, we are usually around. It is a plain shop, nothing fancy to look at, but we are here every day.
