Behari Lal Darshan Lal is located at B 3 in the Lawrence Road Industrial Area. The name has been around for quite a while, and we’ve stayed in this same spot for years. Lawrence Road is one of those places where you can hear the sound of industry as soon as you turn the corner. Our building is a solid, old-school industrial space. We don't have a lot of modern decorations or a fancy reception area. It’s mostly about the work happening on the floor. We deal with various goods and the warehouse is usually stacked high with bags and boxes. It can get a bit cramped when a new delivery arrives. The staff here has been around for a long time, so we all know the routine. We don't spend money on big advertisements or marketing people. Our focus is just on the daily operations and making sure the inventory is correct. It’s a lot of counting and checking and moving things around. The industrial area can be quite busy during the day with trucks blocking the narrow lanes, so you have to be patient getting here. We take pride in the fact that we’ve kept going through all the ups and downs of the economy. We are just a local business doing things the way we’ve always done them, with a bit of hard work and not much else.
