Balaji Namkeen

Balaji Namkeen is located at Shop No 153 in the F Block of Lado Sarai, right on the busy M B Road. It is a very hectic road, so there is always a lot of noise and smoke from the buses passing by. We have been here for a long time and the shop has become part of the street. Our shop is filled with bags and containers of all sorts of different snacks. We make a lot of it right here in the back. The smell of frying spices usually fills the air around the shop throughout the day. It is a small space, and we have to stack things high up to the ceiling to fit everything in. People stop their cars on the main road just to run in and grab a packet of something they like. It can be a bit chaotic at times when there are too many people in the small shop. Lado Sarai is an old area, and we know most of the people who live in the back streets around here. We don't bother with fancy advertising or anything like that. The snacks speak for themselves to the people who buy them. We just keep our heads down and keep the fryers going as much as we can. Sometimes we run out of the popular items by the middle of the afternoon. It is hard to judge exactly how much to make. We just do our best every single day.
