Aggarwal Sweet Centre

Vijay Nagar is always full of energy because of all the students living nearby. We are over at E-24, and Aggarwal Sweet Centre has seen many batches of students come and go. They come in for a quick bite between classes or to take something back to their PG rooms. The shop is simple, just some glass counters and a few benches. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a velvet rope or a host at the door. We’re usually covered in a bit of flour or sugar by midday. The work is repetitive but it’s what we do. We wake up early to start the preparations because the morning rush starts sooner than you’d think. There’s no big marketing strategy here. We just put the trays out and hope people like what they see. Sometimes the rain floods the street a little and we have to put out some extra mats, but that’s just life in Vijay Nagar. We’ve got a small team and we’ve worked together for years, so we don't need to say much to get things done. It’s a humble spot, and we know we’re not the only shop on the street, but we’re fine with that. We just focus on our own counter and the people standing in front of it. It’s a good way to live, just taking one day at a time in this busy part of the city.
