Aggarwal Milk Bar

Our shop is tucked away in Sadar Bazar on B G Road, and if you know this area, you know how crazy it gets. Aggarwal Milk Bar has been sitting at number 4324 for years, surrounded by all kinds of wholesale shops. It’s usually very crowded outside, with rickshaws and people pushing carts all day long. Inside, it’s all about the milk and the sweets we keep in the glass cases. We don’t have much space, so people often just stand and drink their milk or eat a quick snack before moving on. The stove is almost always on, especially in the winter when everyone wants something warm. We spend a lot of time boiling milk, cleaning the counters, and talking to the regulars who stop by every morning. It gets quite hot in here during the summer months, but we just keep the fans running and stay busy. The floors are constantly being swept because of all the dust from the street. We aren't a big chain, just a local spot where people can get something simple. Sometimes we run out of things earlier than planned because the rush was bigger than we thought. It’s a simple life, mostly just measuring out portions and making sure the fridge is working right. We don’t do anything fancy, just the basic stuff that people in Sadar Bazar expect when they walk in through the door.
