Out here in Jaurasi, things move a bit slower than in the city. Mahajan Beauty Houses has been part of the landscape for some time. We handle beauty supplies and whatever else comes through our doors. It’s a simple setup we have here. There aren't many big signs or flashing lights. People in Jaurasi just know where we are. We spend most of our mornings checking the stock and seeing what needs to be ordered next. Sometimes the shelves get a bit cluttered because we try to keep a lot of variety for the locals. It isn't always perfectly organized, but we know where everything is. If someone asks for a specific hair product or a certain cream, we can usually find it under the counter or in the back room. The building is older, which gives it some character, though the roof leaks a tiny bit when the rain gets really heavy. We just put a bucket down and keep going. It’s just us working here, trying to keep the residents of Jaurasi stocked up on their beauty essentials. We don't do much advertising. Word of mouth usually brings people in. It's a quiet way to run a business, and that suits us just fine. We like the familiar faces that come by every week and we plan to stay right here in Jaurasi for a long time.
