Ajanta Hair Saloon

Our shop, Ajanta Hair Saloon, is located at A-72 in Mohammadpur. We are right in the middle of the Mohammad Pur-Bhikaji Cama Place area in Delhi. If you know where the Mahindra Show Room is, we are just right across from it. It is a busy street with cars and bikes always honking. Inside the shop, it is a bit quieter, but you can still hear the city moving outside. We have the usual barber chairs and big mirrors that reflect the street lights in the evening. There is a small bench for people to sit and wait their turn, and usually, there is an old newspaper or two lying around. We spend our time cutting hair and trimming beards for the guys who live and work around here. The floor is usually covered in little bits of hair until we get a chance to sweep it up into the bin. We have been here for a long time, so the walls have some marks and the paint is peeling a bit in the corners. It is a simple place where men come to get cleaned up. We don't have any fancy equipment, just the stuff that works. The water heater sometimes takes a while to start up in the winter months. We know the regulars and how they like their hair done without them even having to say it. It is just a local spot for a haircut and a quick chat about the day.
