Indian Kismis Co

You can find Indian Kismis Co at F-27 in the APMC Market. We are in Phase II, specifically in Sector No 19, which most people around here just call Mudi Bazar. It’s a very loud and crowded place, especially in the mornings when the crates are being moved around and the trucks are unloading. We deal mostly in raisins, or kismis as we call them, and our shop is usually full of boxes stacked right up to the ceiling. It’s a straightforward business. We get the stock in, we check the quality by hand, and then we send it out to whoever needs it. There isn't much room for fancy offices in Mudi Bazar, so we just have a small corner for the books and a phone that never stops ringing. The air usually smells a bit sweet from all the dried fruit. We’ve been in this sector for years, so we know most of the other traders nearby and we help each other out when we can. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and moving, but that’s the nature of the market life. We don't really have a website or big advertisements. Most people just know we are here at F-27. It's a busy life, but it keeps us going and we've built a decent name for ourselves just by being consistent with what we provide. Sometimes the monsoon makes things tricky for storage, but we have our ways of managing it.
