Gippys Caterers

Gippys Caterers is our small business based out of Kanti Society in Vashi. Specifically, we are at number 2, right next to the P K C Hospital. If you’ve ever been to that hospital, you’ve probably walked right past our place. We’ve been doing catering for a long time now. It’s hard work, starting the stoves early in the morning when most people are still asleep. We handle all sorts of events, from small family gatherings to bigger functions around Vashi and nearby areas. The kitchen gets really hot, especially in the summer months, but we just get on with it. We do everything ourselves, from picking out the vegetables at the market to making sure the food is delivered on time. It’s not a glamorous job, and we usually end the day quite tired with flour on our clothes. But it feels good when a customer tells us the food was nice. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; word of mouth is usually how people find us. Vashi is a good place to be, and being near the hospital means there’s always something happening outside our door. We’re just local people making food for other local people, trying to keep things honest and the flavors right every single time we cook. It's just what we do here in Kanti Society.
