Hello Meal

You can find Hello Meal at Shop No 1 on Plot No 122 in the Om Shree Sadguru building. We are over in Sector 50 E in Seawoods, Vashi. It’s a quiet enough corner, but things get moving fast around lunch and dinner time. The shop isn't very large. It’s mostly taken up by the cooking area and a place for the delivery bags to sit. We don't have tables for people to sit down and eat; it’s all about getting the food packed and sent out to the apartments around here. We spend a lot of time washing vegetables and boiling big pots of lentils. The floor is usually a bit wet from cleaning, and there is always a stack of containers waiting to be filled. We started this because we noticed people in the new buildings in Seawoods didn't have much time to cook. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy logo on the wall. It’s just a small team of us wearing aprons and trying to keep up with the orders. Sometimes the delivery bike breaks down and one of us has to run the bags over on foot. The weather in Vashi can be tough when it rains, but the food still has to go out. We just keep our heads down and focus on the orders coming through the app or the phone. It’s a simple operation in a residential neighborhood where we know most of the security guards at the gates.
