We’ve been over here in Navi Mumbai for a while now. Most days it’s just about getting the job done and making sure things run like they should at the site. It’s busy, that's for sure. People come and go, and we try to keep up with everything that needs doing. It’s not fancy or anything, just work. Sometimes the weather gets really humid around here, but you get used to it after a bit. We spend a lot of time checking on supplies and making sure the kitchen side of things is moving. It's a lot of coordination between the staff. I’ve been here since morning and still haven’t finished all the paperwork, but that’s how it goes in this business. The neighborhood is okay, plenty of places to grab a quick tea during the break when we actually get one. We don't really do big speeches or have some grand vision, we just show up and handle the daily tasks. It’s a job where you’re always on your feet. If something breaks, we fix it. If someone is hungry, we feed them. It's simple really. Navi Mumbai is growing fast, and we’re just one part of the noise. I think people appreciate that we just get on with it without making a fuss. Most of the guys here have been together for a year or two now. We know how each other works. It makes the long shifts a bit easier when you know the person next to you has your back.
