Vijay Pulses

Vijay Pulses is tucked away in Office No.32 over in the Housing Board Colony. We are quite close to the Telephone Exchange, which is usually how people find us if they get lost. We deal with different kinds of pulses and grains, mostly supplying to shops and local vendors who need the stock for their own customers. It’s a basic office setup, nothing flashy. We spend most of our time coordinating with the farmers and the transport trucks that bring the loads in. The space is often filled with samples in small bags so we can check the grain before we send anything out. It can get a bit dusty with all the bags moving around, but that’s just part of the job. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now. The Housing Board area is usually quiet except for the mornings when everyone is heading out. We try to keep things moving fast because nobody likes waiting for their delivery. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing when the harvest is coming in. My cousin helps me with the accounts and the logistics. We aren't a big corporation, just a family-run operation trying to do our work. We know our pulses well, from lentils to chickpeas. It’s hard work, especially during the summer heat, but we’ve got a good routine down now. Just look for the sign near the exchange.
