Vivek Pulses

You can find Vivek Pulses over in Hivari Nagar, within the Sivaji Society area. It’s more of a residential neighborhood, so it’s a bit quieter than the main market roads. We operate out of a small space that we’ve converted into a storage and packing area. Most of the neighbors know us because they see the trucks coming and going a couple of times a week. It’s mostly just me and a helper. We get the pulses in bulk and then spend the afternoons sorting through them. It’s tedious work, sitting there and making sure everything looks right, but it’s what needs to be done. We don’t have any fancy machinery, just a few scales and a lot of bags. The floor is concrete and can get pretty cold in the winter months. We keep a small radio playing in the corner to pass the time while we work. It’s a very simple setup. We don't have a website or a sales team. If people want something, they usually just call my mobile or drop by the society gate. We’ve been doing this for several years now and it provides a decent living. It’s not a big corporate thing, just a local business trying to provide a basic product to the people who need it. We just focus on the daily chores and keeping the bags clean and dry until they're sold.
