Pramod Pulses And Pure Mill

Down on Khamla Road at Sita Nagar, that’s where we have our mill. It’s located on Plot No. 12. We spend most of our time dealing with pulses and grains. It’s a bit of a dusty job, as you can imagine with all that milling and grinding going on throughout the day. We see a lot of people coming by with their own bags sometimes, or we prepare larger batches for the local sellers in the market. The sound of the grinders is something you just get used to after a week or two of working here. We’ve been in this spot for years and seen Sita Nagar change quite a bit around us. It used to be much quieter back then. Now there’s more traffic on Khamla Road, but we just keep doing our thing inside the mill. We have a couple of big machines that take up most of the floor space. It’s not a fancy place to look at, just a working mill with bags piled up against the walls. We try to keep the quality consistent because that’s what people expect from us and it's our reputation on the line. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around for it to come back, but that’s just part of living and working here. We mostly just focus on getting the pulses cleaned and ground up properly for the customers. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We don't have much of a sign out front, but everyone knows the mill.
