Prayosha Gruh Udhyog

Prayosha Gruh Udhyog is tucked away in Old Kapsi. We are right by the Umaya Wasahat Kendra and the Suruchi Masala place on Bandara Road. This part of Kapsi is always full of the smell of spices because of the neighboring units. We spend our time making and packing things here in our small workshop. It’s a local effort and we have a few people from the neighborhood who help us out. The work is mostly manual and involves a lot of repetitive tasks but we don't mind. We started this unit because we wanted to do something of our own. The road outside can get quite muddy when it rains and that makes deliveries a bit of a challenge. We just deal with it as it happens. Our space is filled with raw materials and finished products ready to go out. We don't have a marketing department or a big office. It’s just a practical work site where the focus is on the product itself. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big batch if a deadline is coming up. It’s a lot of hard work and our hands are usually busy from start to finish. We’ve lived and worked in Kapsi for a long time so everyone around here knows who we are. We just keep our heads down and focus on what’s in front of us every day. It’s how things get done here on Bandara Road.
