Paradise Water Plant

The plant is located on Lane No. 9 in Rajendra Nagar, which is right near the Nishant Colony. If you come by in the morning, you’ll see the blue water cans stacked up high outside. We start very early because people want their water delivered before they go to their jobs. The sound of the purification machines is constant, a low humming that we don't even notice anymore. It gets quite cold inside because of all the water being processed, which is nice when it’s hot outside in Rajendra Nagar. We have a few delivery vans that are always in and out of the lane. Sometimes it’s hard for them to turn around because the road is narrow. We spend a lot of time scrubbing the cans and making sure the seals are tight. Nishant Colony is where a lot of our regular deliveries go, so we know those streets like the back of our hand. The office is just a small wooden desk near the entrance where we take orders and talk to the drivers. Sometimes the plastic handles on the cans break and we have to fix them ourselves. It’s a lot of physical work, especially during the summer months when everyone is thirsty. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people usually just call us or drop by the plant if they need something. It’s a straightforward operation we’ve got going here.
