Milind Pulses

Milind Pulses is located at Plot No.190/2 on Railway Siding Road in Lakadganj. It’s an industrial sort of area with lots of trucks coming and going. We deal with pulses and grains in bulk. The road outside is often dusty because of all the heavy vehicles. Our warehouse is a large space where we store bags of different lentils and peas. It gets quite hot in the summer under the tin roof but we keep the fans going. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the loads that come in by rail or truck. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around on pallets. We don't have a front office with air conditioning. We just have a small cabin where we keep the records and handle the paperwork. Lakadganj is a hub for this kind of trade so we are surrounded by other businesses doing similar work. We’ve been at this plot for years and we know the railway schedules by heart now. We don't bother with fancy branding. The product speaks for itself and the buyers know what they are getting. It’s hard work and your clothes usually end up covered in dust by the end of the shift. But it’s an honest business and we take pride in getting the food out to where it needs to go. It’s mostly manual labor and keeping an eye on the scales.
