Dayalu Dall Mill

Dayalu Dall Mill is located at Plot No-6 on Bhandara Road. We are quite close to the Harihar Mandir, so you can often hear the morning prayers and the bells while we’re getting the machinery started. The mill is a busy place, and it’s always got that dusty, earthy smell of pulses being processed. It’s not a quiet job. The machines make a lot of noise, but we’re used to it. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Most of our work involves taking the raw grains and getting them ready. We don’t have a front office that looks like a bank. It’s a working mill. There are bags of dall stacked up to the ceiling sometimes. We spend our days checking the bags and making sure the machines are running right. Folks from around the area know us well. We talk to the farmers and the local traders every day. It’s a very basic, honest kind of business. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the dal. The location on Bhandara Road is good for getting the trucks in and out. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and long hours, especially when there’s a lot of grain coming in. But being near the temple gives the place a good feeling. We just do our work, keep things simple, and head home.
