Baba Gauri Shankar Rice & Flour Mill Pvt. Ltd.

We’ve been running the Baba Gauri Shankar Rice & Flour Mill Pvt. Ltd. for quite some time now over on Gopal Gaushala Road. It’s right near the railway station, so it’s pretty easy for folks to find us when they need their grain processed. The mill stays busy most days. We spend a lot of time just keeping the machines running right and making sure the rice and flour come out the way they should. It’s a dusty kind of job, honestly. My clothes are usually covered in white powder by the end of the shift, but that’s just how it goes when you’re milling all day. We mostly deal with local farmers and people from around the neighborhood who bring in their harvest. It isn't a fancy place. We have the big rollers and the grinders, and there's always a bit of a roar when everything is turned on. Sometimes the traffic on Gopal Gaushala Road gets a bit backed up because of the trains, which can be a pain when trucks are trying to load up. We just try to get the work done and keep the bags moving. If you walk past the railway station, you can probably hear us working before you see the sign. It’s a simple operation, really. Just some people working with machines to get food ready for the market. We don't have a big office or anything, just the main floor where the heavy lifting happens.
