Ashirwad Poha

Our place, Ashirwad Poha, is located right near Sadar Bazar. Being so close to such a famous and busy market means there is never a dull moment. We are in an old part of the city where the streets are narrow and always filled with people. We mostly just make poha, and our day starts long before the sun comes up. We have to get everything ready for the people who stop by for their breakfast on their way to work. The shop is simple and a bit worn down, with walls that have seen many years of steam and cooking. We don't have a big sign or any marketing materials. Most people find us because they live nearby or they hear about us from their friends. We have a couple of large pans and some basic tools to prepare the flattened rice. It is a small operation, and we like keeping it that way. The floor usually has a bit of rice dust on it, and the air is always warm from the cooking. We know our regulars by their names and how they like their food. We don't have a mission or a fancy business plan. We just aim to get the work done and make enough for the day for the people in Sadar Bazar. It is an honest, local business that has been here for a long time. We plan to stay right here near the bazaar for as long as we can.
