Annakut Tiffin Services

Shilpa Society is where we do all our cooking and it usually smells like tadka and fresh rotis by ten in the morning. We are at number 155 and it’s right across from that big green lawn where people go for walks. Annakut Tiffin Services started because we noticed people in Manish Nagar really needed home-cooked food that didn't taste like a restaurant. The kitchen is almost always busy with someone chopping vegetables or packing the steel dabbas into bags. We use the Shivatmika building space and it gets pretty crowded when the delivery guys show up to take the lunches out. There’s a lot of cleaning to do afterward and then we start prepping for the dinner shift. It is a lot of hard work standing over the stove but we’ve gotten used to the heat and the rush. Some days are more hectic than others especially when we have extra orders for a local gathering. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything like that, just a clean kitchen and a lot of containers. People often stop by the gate to ask what’s on the menu for the day. We just try to keep the food simple and hot so it gets to everyone on time. Manish Nagar is a nice place to work from and the neighbors in Shilpa Society are mostly used to the smell of spices now.
