It’s usually pretty busy here on Punapur Road. We spend most of our mornings getting the equipment ready and making sure everything is clean before the day starts. Being near Bhawani Mandir means there is always a lot of movement outside, which keeps things lively. Our place in Bhavani Nagar isn't anything fancy, just a workspace where we get things done. We mostly deal with the daily grind of processing food items and getting them into bags or containers. Sometimes the heat in the kitchen area gets to be a bit much, especially during the summer months in Nagpur, but we just open the windows and keep moving. Most of the staff has been here for a while, so we have a rhythm down. We don’t really do much in terms of fancy advertising or anything like that. People around Lakad Ganj and Pardi know where we are if they need us. We focus on the work right in front of us, checking the weights and making sure the seals are tight. It’s hard work and your hands get tired by five o’clock, but it’s what we do. The floor usually needs a good scrub by the end of the shift because of all the flour or spices we handle. It’s not a quiet job, but it’s honest. We just try to keep up with the orders that come in and make sure the delivery guys can find the place without too much trouble.
