Seema Marble

Setting up Seema Marble here at Plot No. E-56 in the Riico Industrial Area was a big step for us. Makrana is famous for its stone, so being right here in the middle of it makes sense. We’re out in the Nagaur district where the weather gets pretty tough, but we keep the gates open and the saws running regardless. Our yard is usually stacked with slabs and pieces we’ve been working on. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting and sorting through what comes in. We don't spend much time worrying about how the front office looks because the real work happens out back. Sometimes it gets quite loud with all the machinery, but that's just the sound of the day moving along. We have neighbors all around doing similar things, so it’s a tight community in this part of the industrial area. My family has been around Makrana for a long time, and we know these rocks pretty well. We see a lot of people stopping by to look at what we have available. It’s a messy job with the water and the slurry everywhere, but there’s something nice about seeing a raw piece of marble turn into something smooth. We just try to get through the orders and keep things moving. Most days, we’re just glad when the sun goes down and we can head home after a long shift. We aren't trying to be fancy here, just working hard every day.
