Raj Kamal Marble Enterprises

If you know Makrana, you know how much marble is around here. Our yard, Raj Kamal Marble Enterprises, is right near the Makrana Police Station, close to the Post Office. It is a busy spot. There is always white dust in the air and the sound of machines cutting stone. We spend most of our time out in the yard looking at blocks or talking to the drivers. It’s not an easy job because the stone is heavy and the sun gets really hot in this part of Rajasthan. We’ve been at this location for a good while. The police station nearby makes it easy for people to find us when they are driving through. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning. Usually, we just sit in the small cabin or walk around the piles of marble with people who come by. It is honest work. Some days are slow, and other days three trucks show up at once and everything is chaotic. We try to keep things organized, but in a marble yard, there is always a bit of a mess. That’s just how it is. We handle different types of stone that come through here. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Taluka Parbatsar, just a reliable one where you can see what you are getting. The local guys stop by for tea sometimes. It is just a regular local business doing its thing every day.
