Navrang Marble

We are located near the Mahi Dharwaja area, which is pretty close to Luharpura here in Nagaur. Working with marble means there is always a bit of dust around the place, no matter how much we try to clean it up. We have been handling stone for quite some time. It is heavy work, and our hands usually show it by the end of the week. The yard where we keep the slabs is out in the open. We spend most of our time showing people the different patterns and pieces we have sitting around. Every piece of stone is a bit different, so it takes time to look through them all. Sometimes customers come in with specific ideas, and other times they just want to see what is available. We don't have a flashy showroom. It is just the stone and us. Most of the people who stop by are from the nearby villages or right here in Nagaur town. We have grown used to the noise of the machinery and the constant loading of trucks. It’s not the easiest job, especially when the sun is beating down on the yard, but it feels good to see the stone go out to a new home. We just focus on keeping the stock organized and being here when people need to pick something out for their floors or walls. It’s a simple way to earn a living, and we just keep at it every day. It's just Navrang Marble, doing the same steady work we've always done.
