Sree Kantha First Grade College For Women

Sree Kantha First Grade College For Women is located on 4th Cross, Shankarmatt Road. We are right in the Agrahara area of Mysore, which is a nice, established part of the city. Being in Mysore gives the college a bit of a traditional feel, which seems to suit the way we do things. We have been in this building for many years. It is a straightforward place for young women to come and work on their degrees. We do not have any big, flashy signs or modern glass walls. It is just a regular building with classrooms, a library, and a place for the girls to eat their lunch. Our staff members are mostly local people who have been with us for a long time. We do not spend much time on marketing or trying to sound like a big corporation. We just make sure the classes happen on time and that the students have what they need to study. Sometimes the paint is peeling a bit or a door squeaks, but we fix things when we can. It is a very practical environment. We do not talk about big visions; we just focus on the textbooks and the exams. Most of our students come from nearby, walking or taking the bus to Shankarmatt Road every morning. It is a simple life here at the college. We are just here to provide a space for learning without any unnecessary fuss.
